Every product's values normally come straight from its source data — whatever the last input sync pulled in. But you don't have to accept the source data as-is: you can edit any product's fields by hand from the feed's product table.
How edits work
A manual edit and a channel sync are treated the same way: whichever happens most recently wins. If you hand-edit a title and the feed syncs again afterward, the freshly imported value replaces your edit — there's no protected or "locked" state for a field. Every change, whether it came from a sync or from the product editor, is recorded in the audit log so you can always see what changed, when, and by whom.
