Each channel attachment has its own sync schedule, set independently of every other channel on the feed. You can run a sync manually at any time regardless of the schedule.

Choosing a time of day
Hourly, every-3-hours, every-6-hours, and daily schedules let you pick a specific time so runs land at a predictable point — for example, always syncing at the top of the hour, or always at 6am for a daily feed. 15- and 30-minute schedules skip this since a specific minute doesn't add much precision at that frequency.
Plan limits on frequency
Your plan sets a minimum interval between automatic syncs. If you pick a frequency shorter than your plan allows, the schedule is rejected with a message telling you the minimum interval and prompting you to choose a longer one or upgrade. See plans & limits.
